Once your website is finished and is ready to have the payment option implemented on the site you will need to create an order form on the site. You will also need to make sure your server is secure and that it is certified. You will also need to make sur eyou have a gateway account in lieu of a merchant account.
There are companies that have their own shopping cart and can do this for you. This will save you a ton of time and implementation costs. Some companies outsource this to other companies which could create a lot of problems for you so make sure when you are opening a gateway account that there is only one company that deals with this and that it is the company you opened the merchant account with.
